In only a year and a half, Gamesa has relinquished its third Polish wind farm to RWE Innogy. The sale of the Taciewo wind farm to RWE’s subsidiary RWE Renewables Polska, has an installed capacity of 30 MW equipped with 15 G90-2.0 MW turbines.
Taciewo will generate over 65,000 MWh of electricity per year, enough to meet the equivalent requirements of over 32,500 Polish households per year and to avoid 65,000 tons of carbon emissions. The Spanish wind turbine manufacturer said in a release, “Gamesa’s strategy in wind farm development, construction and sales remains focused on unlocking value from its project portfolio and forging agreements that help generate cash flow.”
