As part of the World Bank’s Scaling Solar program, six candidates have been selected in the final phase for the construction of a 25 MW solar plant in Madagascar.
The entities selected by the Ministry of Water, Energy and Hydrocarbons are AccionaEnergia SAU, Globeleq Africa Holdings Ltd and Ormat Technologies. They compete with GreenYellow SAS and Omnicane Ltd in consortium, Mulilo Group Holdings and Voltalia SA together in a consortium and consortium consisting of Al Nowais Investment LLC and Aldwych Power Holdings.
The consortia will now have to submit their technical and financial proposals for evaluation.
