Solarschmiede, a Munich-based solar company, will bring on new management with experience from both PV and software development. Rudi Haas will provide yield reports, quality assurance for the solar power plants, and can support customers in every phase of plant development. Harald Zeich will preside over the department that develops individual software and license programs to plan solar energy systems. While Felix Schneider will become head of management and thus stands shoulder-to-shoulder between the software and engineering departments.
The company said in a release that the managerial change was the most logical step in order to expand Solarschmiede’s portfolio. The company said, “Thanks to its sustainable growth, Solarschmiede plans to expand its portfolio; this includes services in every step of a solar plant’s life cycle – from yield reports to commissioning with thermography to performance assessments. In particular, sales will become international for custom software and licensing programs.”
