Ugandan Company Looks to Coffee Husks for Cement Production

Ugandan company Hima Cement is attempting to increase its coffee husks as an energy source for cement production. The firm will spend about $784,000 on a project to increase the production of coffee husks in the western part of the country by providing seedlings.

In return, Hima will receive the husks to use as a biomass source to reduce its reliance on fossil fuels.
