The Philippines government is finally getting serious about the management of waste in the country and taking unprecedented action to manage the waste generated by all its cities and agricultural development. LGUs have become to realize the seriousness of the matter and are beginning to call for proposals to solve the ever-growing problem of waste.
Waste to Energy and Biogas offer a commercially attractive and convenient solution to manage waste and also provide much needed energy to the LGUs that are also energy starved. Being a distributed energy source, projects utilizing waste have the added advantage of having a readily available fuel source closer to energy demand.
The WASTE TO ENERGY & BIOGAS PHILIPPINES FORUM 2017 (03 – 04 August 2017) brings together key stakeholders from LGUs and the national government to examine policies, frameworks and commercial contracts to make waste to energy and biogas investments more attractive and workable. We will also examine key technologies and practices, making the process safer, more efficient, and ultimately, more profitable for its owners and users.
