In Uganda the National Water & Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) recently issued a new request for proposals (RFP) inviting foreign and local companies and consortia to submit proposals for the development of a waste-to-energy facility in Kampala.
The deadline for the submission is September 21.
The project is expected to be implemented through a design-build-operate-finance Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model with a duration of 20 years.
