Wind Hinders Solar Flight’s Moroccan Ambitions

The solar flight from Europe to Morocco was successful, but plans to travel across the North African country have been delayed as a result of strong winds. The Solar Impulse was forced to abandon its efforts to leave Rabat and head to Ouarzazate to coincide with the area’s construction of its solar power plant.

The solar plane arrived in Rabat on June 6, but now the pilot and crew will change their course.
