World Bank Power Sector Job Opening in Nigeria

The World Bank’s Africa Region Energy Unit is searching for a senior energy specialist to be based in Abuja, Nigeria to support the country’s activities of the organization. The ideal candidate will work in the power and gas sector pertaining to reform, utility investment programming, rural electrification, renewable energy, and energy efficiency.

 

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in economics, engineering, finance, or a related field with eight years of combined experience in the World Bank or other international development institutions, companies, or government institutions and utilities. Candidates with experience in leading a power sector dialogue and help prepare donor-funded energy projects is considered an advantage.
